OUR STORY
Sixth Generation Family-Owned Business
Welcome to Pioneer Place! Our family has been growing crops and cattle on this land since we settled the homestead in 1892. We have always operated with three generations simultaneously.
The current owners are Arden & Kathy Payer, their son Brad & Lindsay Payer and grandsons Brian, Kasten & Grayson Payer.

Payer Land & Cattle represents a family of six generations raising food on the Pioneer Place outside of Westphalia, Kansas. From the days of harvesting crops by hand and horse, to cabless tractors in the 70s, the Payer family has worked hard to provide a quality crop to the market.

Thank you for visiting our family farm and know we take pride in placing the highest quality food on your family's table.
OUR FARM
Payer Land and Cattle
and
Circle P Three Meats
Payer Land & Cattle operates 2,000 acres of hay, corn, pasture, construction and more. We take pride in working the land and look forward to serving you.

Our cow-calf operation, Circle P Three Meats, operates over 300 head of cattle. Our cattle are fed with hay, corn, and grass grown on the 2,000-acre operation. They receive the best quality care so you receive the best quality beef.
Another reason to buy local? We've adopted a new process which removes two middle men. We partner with Seth Bolling, Bolling’s Meat Market and the Moran Locker. This USDA-approved resale establishment provides a close location to the end consumer; allowing you to pick up the freshest beef soon after processing. This decreases the investment price for consumer and profits for producer.
